OUR ORIGINS
-------------------------------
Back in 2019, Soaked Clothing was born from a chance meeting between two people at Abunia. What started as a shared love for creativity and alternative style quickly grew into a small fashion undertaking evolved into
While the other half of our original founding duo has since moved on to chart their own creative path under m'Bear Atelier, that initial spark never faded and has grown to what Soaked Clothing is today.
WHO WE ARE NOW
-------------------------------
Today, Soaked has transformed into a living, breathing community. We are an artist-led apparel and merchandise brand project based right here in Belgium. We bridge alternative fashion with story-based fantasy, serving a unique audience that craves something deeper than generic fast fashion all created by creative humans.
My philosophy here is simple: I create the fantasy art that I love. I believe that if I genuinely love what I create, someone else out there will connect with it too. I’ve been making art since I was young, dabbling in everything from fine art photography to motion graphics and 3D art. During this process I've heavily fallen in-love with the process of creating, concepting and storytelling.
I'm a perfectionist at heart and have always been working in the visual industry and so my work is heavily influenced by graphic design and more recently my Partner in Crime who has a background in artisinal printing and has been accompanying me in this journey.
Before I forget, my name is Indy and you might have noticed I often use "WE" and that has a good reason. Soaked is a community nothing would've been possible with the support and influence of said members.
THE COLLABORATION AGE
-------------------------------
From day one, my ultimate intention for Soaked was never just to showcase my personal work it was to build a curated collaborative brand that elevates the artistic scene my personal designs will always be heavily inspired by classic metal graphic tees, but as inspiration is everywhere that idea keeps expanding. Lately, that aesthetic has evolved even further through my partner’s influence, infusing our collections with the distinct, tactile textures of linocut and other artisanal print mediums.
Now that the foundation is solid, we have been expanding outside of our small bubble and collaborating with other independent artists and welcome them into our universe.
Through these Collaborations, we are co-designing streetwear that forces us to step out of our comfort zone and challenge ourselves with new ideas.
Stay tuned!
